Hi, I’m Amanda!
I have been an artist at Nova since 2012. I work behind the chair with a passion for all cutting, but more specifically short hair. I also coordinate most of the education events, apprenticeship programs and I am part of our education team at Nova while promoting education and professional growth!
I am a licensed cosmetologist and educator. I graduated from WMCTC and received my cosmetology license in 2006. Learning and teaching have been two of my favorite things in my cosmetology career. I’ve trained with Kevin Murphy, Aloxxi, Wella, Redken and more. I have attended many hair shows, educational events and classes. I have experienced educating for a color company traveling to salons and hair shows, learning from some of the best. I have taught at cosmetology schools and facilitate our apprenticeship at Nova.
I feel very grateful for the range of available products we have at Nova. I believe we have something for everyone from hair color, treatments to the styling product that will help you achieve the hair you desire. I love the ANTI.GRAVITY Spray from KM, this product works well for most textures and styles and can be used on damp or dry hair for blowdrying or curling.
